Golden colors are a core part of the brand's identity today, but they were not easy to define.

We experimented with different color palettes for many weeks, always keeping in mind our northern stars:

1. The brand should evoke freedom.

2. The brand should evoke finesse.

While finding the answer for the first point was easy, we struggled for weeks to solve the second point.

One fateful night, as we toiled away on our project, a colleague brought in a bottle of the finest, aged whiskey to help us power through the evening. As we poured ourselves glasses of this soul-fuel, we began discussing the challenges and struggles that must have been faced by those who worked for the whiskey brand. We imagined the tireless efforts they must have made to discover the perfect style to convey the soul of their brand.

Suddenly, a revelation struck us like a bolt of lightning. We realized that we shared the same key points as the whiskey brand: freedom and finesse. It was a moment of pure inspiration, as we knew deep in our souls that golden was the color palette we had been searching for. Our minds raced with the possibilities as we mocked up logo after logo, each one more stunning than the last.

And so it was that we created a brand that truly spoke to the heart of our work, one that would stand the test of time. For we knew that like the whiskey brand, we were driven by the same struggles and objectives that had guided our predecessors.

Lesson learned: If you're working on a color palette and need inspiration, turn your eyes away from the computer and towards the real world to let it inspire you.
